Privacy Policy
Effective September 19, 2026 · Applies to whitetailnation.us and the Whitetail Nation app
Whitetail Nation is owned and operated by FinTech Data Solutions LLC ("FinTech", "we", "us"), Andover, Kansas, and sponsored by Medicine Lodge Meat Co. ("MLMC"), 605 W 3rd Ave, Medicine Lodge, KS 67104, where your points are earned and spent. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we never do with it.
What we collect
- Early-access sign-up: your name, mobile number, email, county, and how many deer you take in a season, plus whether you chose to receive text messages.
- Your account: name, handle, email, mobile number, state and county, profile photo and bio.
- What you put in the app: blind and trail-camera locations, hunt logs, deer you log (including antler score and weight), photos and video clips, posts, comments, messages to other hunters, and any business listing you apply for.
- Points: the points you earn and spend on deer processing at MLMC, tied to your MLMC purchases so the points can be applied at the counter.
- Website visits: page views with approximate location (country, state, city), the page you came from, and a daily rotating identifier that cannot be traced back to you. No advertising cookies and no third-party trackers.
How we use it
- To run your account, show you your own blinds, cams, log and trophies, and apply your points at MLMC.
- To show other hunters only what you choose to share. Blind and camera locations are private by default and are never shown to anyone unless you switch sharing on for that blind or camera.
- To send you sign-in codes, account notices and, if you opted in, the occasional announcement such as the app launch.
- To understand how the website is used, in aggregate.
Text messages (SMS)
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
You may receive texts only if you asked for them: by ticking the optional box on our sign-up form, by asking at the MLMC counter, or by tapping "text me my code" in the app. Consent to texts is never a condition of joining or of buying anything from MLMC. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out and HELP for help. See the Terms for the full text-messaging terms.
Who sees your data
- We do not sell your information and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. Nothing that identifies you leaves the app.
- Combined, de-identified patterns (for example, deer taken per county by week, or how many hunters use trail cameras) may be studied and shared by FinTech Data Solutions LLC and Medicine Lodge Meat Co. No name, handle, cell, email or location of any one hunter is ever in them.
- Service providers that process it on our behalf and under our instructions: our hosting and network providers, our email and text-message delivery providers, and Square for purchases at MLMC. They may not use it for anything else.
- Other hunters see only what you share: shared deer, photos, clips, posts, comments, and shared blinds. Your email and mobile number are never shown to other hunters.
- When the law requires it, or to protect the safety of people or the integrity of the app.
Keeping and deleting it
We keep your account for as long as you use it. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your profile, blinds, cams, logs, photos, clips and messages; records of purchases and points at MLMC are kept as required for our books. Email [email protected] or message us any time right in the app under Settings.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, sign-in uses one-time codes instead of passwords, and access to the systems is limited to the people who run MLMC and its software. No system is perfectly secure; tell us right away if you think your account has been misused.
Children
Whitetail Nation is for adult customers of MLMC. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
